Verified Vietnamese participants for market research, interviews, surveys and concept tests. Native speakers, screened to your brief, reached on the channels Vietnamese people actually use rather than the ones that work next door.
Figures: DataReportal, Digital 2026 Vietnam.
Vietnam has spent the last decade becoming one of Southeast Asia's most consequential markets. Manufacturing has moved in at scale as companies diversify supply chains, a young and increasingly urban population has adopted digital payments and e-commerce quickly, and a domestic startup ecosystem has grown up alongside both.
That growth has outpaced the research infrastructure around it. Plenty of decisions about Vietnam are still made from regional reports written elsewhere, or from assumptions borrowed wholesale from Indonesia or Thailand. Those assumptions travel badly. Vietnam has its own language, its own platform landscape, its own consumer habits, and its own reasons for adopting or rejecting a product.
Vietnam is the exception to the regional rule. Zalo dominates locally, alongside Facebook and Messenger. A study built on WhatsApp because it worked in Indonesia will quietly underperform here.
Vietnam gets folded into "Southeast Asia" in strategy decks and then treated as a variation on its neighbours. It is not one, and consumers notice when a product was clearly designed for somewhere else.
Global panels list Vietnam without going deep there. Anonymous profiles and self-reported job titles make it hard to know whether you reached the audience you paid for.
Vietnam is an emerging market in our Southeast Asia panel. It is smaller than Indonesia, and we would rather say so than imply a standing bench we do not have. In practice that means most Vietnamese briefs combine the existing panel with fresh targeted recruitment built specifically for your study.
The verification process is identical to every other market we cover: targeted LinkedIn campaigns, with each participant checked against their public professional profile before they join a study. Real name, current role, company, work history. No anonymous sign-ups, no purchased lists. For consumer briefs, we screen on the behaviours and criteria your study actually needs rather than on stale profile tags.
LinkedIn verification. Real identity, current role, company and work history checked before anyone enters a study.
Targeted recruitment. For most Vietnamese briefs we recruit to your specific criteria rather than drawing from a general pool.
Custom screener. Must-have criteria, disqualifiers and consistency checks, written for your study.
In-study quality controls. Attention and consistency checks catch low-effort or implausible responses.
Honest scoping. If a brief needs more time or a different audience than you assumed, we say so before recruitment starts.
Our Vietnamese participants are native speakers, and studies can be fielded in Vietnamese or English, by text or voice, with voice responses transcribed and translated for your reporting. We usually recommend Vietnamese. English works for some senior tech and professional audiences, but proficiency in Vietnamese professional settings is generally lower than in Malaysia or the Philippines, and defaulting to English quietly selects for a narrow, unrepresentative slice of the market.
Channels matter just as much. Most of Southeast Asia runs on WhatsApp. Vietnam does not: Zalo has around 78 million monthly active users in a country of 102 million, with Facebook at a similar scale, and WhatsApp trailing well behind both. A study copied unchanged from an Indonesian brief will underperform here without anyone quite understanding why. So we field Vietnamese studies on the web by default, surveys, concept and preference tests, prototype walkthroughs and AI-moderated conversations all run in a browser on a phone, and use messaging channels only where a specific audience genuinely lives on one.
A landing page, a concept, or a rough prototype in front of screened Vietnamese participants, to find out whether the problem is real before committing engineering time to the market.
User interviews, usability feedback and concept tests with the roles your product is actually aimed at.
Demand checks, localisation decisions and competitive perception work before Vietnam becomes a line in the regional plan.
